mixed feelings about the stay
loose toilet seat mouldy shower
the breakfast was acceptable it had sufficient variety.
the bathroom required extensive cleaning the shower was mouldy. the toilet seat was loose. the door scraped against the floor whenever i moved it.

food choice great location off street parking sticky remote dingy room uncomfortable mattress
the breakfast had enough food and choice i liked that. i also appreciated the location which was close to the facilities i needed. i found parking off street, a definite plus.
my room had a tv remote that felt sticky to the touch the room itself felt a bit dingy as well. i thought the bathroom and shower were also a bit dingy. the mattress was not very comfortable i did not sleep well.

Excellent stay
spacious room great owner convenient location
The room was spacious for me and my partner. The owner was great. He recommended activities and restaurants nearby. He proved very helpful, and I would return. The building has great original features. I appreciated the convenient location near many places.
I noticed some dirt around the taps in the bathroom sink. It had not been thoroughly cleaned. It seemed those rooms were reserved for regular guests.

The breakfast included jars of fresh fruit and yogurt. Guests can also enjoy cereal and orange juice. Toast is prepared fresh. The cooked breakfast requires a short wait.

The owner assisted my daughter with carrying bags to the room. He also provided detailed directions to the Playhouse. There were sweets and mints available in dishes near the reception area.

The location is close to the beach and local establishments. There is a lovely little garden where guests can sit during the mornings and evenings. Bottles of water, tea, coffee, and biscuits were available in the room.

Acceptable experience
dog friendly close proximity stairs problem garden access
The location was a GREAT plus. The host accommodated our little dog. The guest house sits very close to the beach.
The stairs were difficult. The hotel sits on a BANK, it's not ideal for everyone. The garden required leaving the hotel and climbing over A step.

sticky remote dingy room
Breakfast was acceptable.
The television remote was sticky and unclean. The room was dingy and the bathroom needed more attention (I found it unpleasant). The mattress was old and provided poor support.
